The Dreame X60 Max Ultra Complete has taken the number one overall position on Vacuum Wars' rankings, ending the Dreame L50 Ultra's multi-month hold on the top spot. With a score of 4.08, the X60 Max Ultra became the highest-scoring robot vacuum tested to date, combining a redesigned slim body with improvements in obstacle detection and cleaning power.
Priced at $1,499.99 (down from $1,699.99), the X60 Max Ultra delivers elite scores in pet performance, obstacle avoidance, and cleaning power while fitting into spaces other flagships cannot reach. [Source 1]
At just 3.13 inches (79.5 mm) tall, the X60 Max Ultra is one of the slimmest full-featured robot vacuums available. It delivers 35,000 Pa of suction power with whisper-quiet performance and can climb obstacles up to 51 mm (2 inches), handling most door thresholds without issue.
The ultra-thin profile allows the robot to clean under furniture that stops most competitors, while the fully automated dock handles mop washing with hot water, dust emptying, and drying. [Source 1]
Despite its top ranking, opinions are divided. Gizmodo called it a '$1,700 worth of robot vacuum problems,' citing concerns about complexity and occasional navigation issues. However, other reviewers praised its consistency across all scoring categories, noting that no other robot matches its combined performance in cleaning, mopping, and obstacle avoidance.
TechRadar noted that Dreame is 'a victim of its own success,' as the X60 Max Ultra's improvements over the already-excellent X50 Ultra are incremental rather than revolutionary. [Source 1] [Source 2]
