Dyson launches the V10 Konical, its first cordless vacuum with auto-empty capability. Featuring 150 Air Watts, de-tangling conical head, and 60-minute runtime.
2026/03/30
Dyson has launched the V10 Konical, the company's first cordless stick vacuum designed to work with an auto-empty dock. Available now in Australia and New Zealand at AU$799, the V10 Konical pairs with the new freestanding Auto-empty Dok that charges the vacuum while storing up to 60 days of dirt in replaceable liners.
This marks a significant milestone for Dyson, which has long resisted the self-emptying trend embraced by competitors like Shark, Samsung, and Tineco in the cordless vacuum space. [Source 1]
The V10 Konical delivers 150 Air Watts of suction — a 30% increase over previous V10 models — with up to 60 minutes of runtime. Its conical cleaner head prevents long hair and pet fur from wrapping around the brush bar, while green laser-like illumination makes microscopic dust visible on hard floors.
The vacuum maintains Dyson's signature fade-free suction throughout the cleaning session, ensuring consistent performance from start to finish. [Source 1]
In a puzzling decision, the Auto-empty Dok is not yet available with the vacuum. Dyson has only confirmed it will arrive 'later this year' at an additional AU$299. TechRadar noted the baffling delay, as the dock is the V10 Konical's headline feature.
US and UK availability has not been announced. If Dyson brings the V10 Konical to North America and Europe at a competitive price, it could shake up the premium cordless vacuum market where self-emptying has become a key differentiator. [Source 1] [Source 2]
