iRobot has launched the Roomba Mini Robot Vacuum & Mop with AutoEmpty Dock in the UK and Europe as of March 10, 2026. At just 24.5 cm (9.6 inches) in diameter, the Roomba Mini is roughly half the size of a conventional robot vacuum, making it the smallest full-featured robot vacuum on the market.
Despite its compact size, the Roomba Mini packs ClearView LiDAR for navigation and obstacle avoidance, delivering room-mapping capabilities typically found only in full-size robots. [Source 1]
The Roomba Mini comes with an AutoEmpty Dock, allowing hands-free dust disposal. It also features a mopping function, combining vacuuming and wet cleaning in its ultra-compact body. The small footprint means it can navigate tight spaces, under furniture, and between chair legs that larger robots cannot reach. [Source 1]
The Roomba Mini is currently available only in the UK and Europe, sparking speculation about a North American release. iRobot has not yet confirmed US availability. The launch comes as iRobot continues operations under new ownership by China-based Picea Robotics following its acquisition, with CEO reassuring customers that their data remains protected and stored in the US.
